Select "Claremont Guest" from Wi-Fi

Open your device's Wi-Fi settings and select Claremont Guest from the list of available networks. No password is needed to select the network.

2

Open a Browser — You'll Be Redirected

After selecting the network, open any web browser. You will automatically be redirected to the CMC Guest Wi-Fi captive portal. If the redirect doesn't happen automatically, try navigating to http://neverssl.com to trigger it.

Tip: Some devices show a "Sign in to Network" notification that opens the portal automatically. Tap it if it appears.

3

Read and Accept the Terms of Service

Review the acceptable use policy on the captive portal page. Click Accept or Continue to agree to the terms. This is required for each 12-hour session.

4

You're Connected — Browse Freely

You now have internet access for the next 12 hours. The connection is filtered and monitored per CMC's acceptable use policy. When your session expires, simply reconnect and accept the Terms of Service again.

Your connection is filtered and monitored for security. Do not use this network for sensitive personal or business transactions.

Troubleshooting

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then reconnect to the network. Alternatively, navigate to http://neverssl.com to force the captive portal redirect. Make sure you're not using a VPN, which can block the portal.
Simply reconnect to Claremont Guest and accept the Terms of Service again to start a new 12-hour session. This is by design to protect institutional resources.
Library databases require CMC credentials and EduRoam access. Guests who need access to library databases should contact the Claremont Colleges Library (CLCC) for guest library access credentials.
